Former New York Jets and Green Bay Packers running back Brandon Burks was arrested Saturday night in Alabama and charged with marijuana possession, which is a second-degree misdemeanor.
Burks was arrested at a traffic stop in the area. He was one of the four occupants in the vehicle and officers spotted marijuana “in very close proximity to Burks.”
The RB signed with the Jets in December to join their practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster on Dec. 28, but was waived by the Jets back in April.
