The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without running back Leonard Fournette, receiver Marqise Lee and cornerback A.J. Bouye for their preseason game against Carolina on Thursday night.
Coach Doug Marrone ruled out all three projected starters Monday, adding that running back T.J. Yeldon (hamstring) and tight end Michael Rivera (hand) also won’t play against the Panthers.
Fournette has a left foot injury. Lee has a badly sprained right ankle. Bouye’s injury has not been disclosed. Fournette and Lee played in the preseason opener, but sat out last week against Tampa Bay..
Other injuries on Monday:
1. Cleveland Browns teammates Isaiah Crowell and Nate Orchard will not play against the New York Giants as they continue to deal with groin injuries suffered in Thursday’s practice.
Linebacker Tank Carder (knee) will not return.
2. Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown (quad) returned to practice.
3. Denver Broncos coach Vance Joseph (knee) said veteran running back Jamaal Charles will playagainst the Green Bay Packers on Saturday.
4. Tight end Eric Ebron remains out for the Detroit Lions as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.
5. Giants wideout Odell Beckham, Jr. jogged to the locker room after taking a low hit during the second quarter of Monday night’s game against the Browns. The team said he suffered a sprained ankle.
